Olympic Scrapbooking

While scrapbooking has yet to become an Olympic event, the Olympics are certainly a scrapbooking event.  So here are some page ideas to get your ideas flowing. Each layout uses only a selection of primary colored cardstock, computer printed titles, and stickers, making them so easy that any scrapper can have great Olympic pages. If you do not happen to be fortunate enough to actually attend the Games in Australia, start thinking of ways that these pages could be used for other Olympic size happenings in your family. My daughter participated in a community event called the Little People's Olympics, these pages would be perfect for that. You could hold an Olympic party either for the kids with outside contests or simply have a group of adults over to picnic and watch the games on T.V. Take lots of pictures of these events and you are ready for Olympic Scrapbooking. Click on the pictures below for a larger view and detailed instructions. The first two page spread could be used no matter what country you happen to be routing for and contains the rings, creed, and motto of the Olympic games. The single page layout has a distinctly American flair.
