These steps will show you how to make a special gift that is sure to be treasured by the mother of a new baby.

Difficulty Level: Average      Time Required: 2 hours

1. Purchase a small photo safe scrapbooking album, such as the Creative Memories 5x7 Sentiments album.
2. Decorate each of the pages that comes with the album with a variety of baby stickers, die-cuts, and gingham print photo mounting paper leaving room on each page for 1-2 pictures.
3. Create a Title Page for the album, being specific with the child's name and birth date if known, leaving the details blank for an expecting mother.
4. Purchase a set of page protectors to go with the album.
5. Also, purchase several "extras" for decorating the album, for example: more stickers, die-cuts, pens, colored paper, and blue and/or pink alphabet and number stickers.
6. Package the album and supplies creatively, possibly including a couple rolls of film.  
   

1. New mothers have so little time for hobbies and crafts, so be sure to offer to help her complete the album after the pictures have been taken if needed.
2. Use this same idea for other gift kits, such as teacher packs, Christmas gift albums, new home gift albums, etc.
3. Keep the decorations on the pages simple but cute.
