HIA 2004 - What's New and What's Hot - Continued

Hobby Industry Association - Dallas - Part III
Rebecca's Picks For Scrapbookers in 2004

More new product offerings for the scrapbook industry from these great companies:

The Companies - The Products

Diane's Daughters - I really liked the colors and styles of papers and die cuts from this newer company. They have paper strips that coordinate with small squares with slits cut into them so that you can slide the squares onto the strip to create beautiful, but very flat, unique page embellishments. I know, they are hard to describe. You can visit their website to see them for yourselves.

Boundless Memories - Theme album kits! These kits have great color combinations for highly graphic simple scrapbooks. Right now you can see their Baby album online, watch for other Tribute kits coming soon.

Junkitz - Junkitz is making buttons that coordinate with the Bazzill Trios paper colors. Junkitz has the buttons, Fiber Scraps has the fibers, Bazzill has the solid cardstocks, and Chatterbox has the patterned papers all in coordinated color lines. I love the idea of companies working together and doing what they all do best in a coordinated effort. Check Junkitz website for the rest of their new products.

Reminders of Faith - This company is specializing in Christian scrapbooking. They have a gorgeous paper and tag lines. The tag sheets look are 3-dimensional looking and ready to help you complete quick and easy scrapbook pages. You can see the entire line on their site.

EK Success - Of course this giant of a company had a ton of new products debuting at HIA. Some of my favorites were the Rebecca's Attic line by Rebecca Sower. This is an entire coordinated line of antique looking letters, stickers, and 3-D embellishments. I am really excited about the set of typewriter key alphabet rubber stamps. I also love the new Disney Jolee's line. Watch for an article highlighting the new Architectures line coming here on About Scrapbooking soon. Really exciting news - EK Success has a brand new website!

Mrs. Grossman's - There were many exciting new products in the world of Mrs. Grossman's stickers. I really loved the fabric stickers, specialty paper stickers, and cardstock stickers. They also have a great website where you can find their new product lines.

O' Scrap - I have always loved double-sided cardstock. It makes it super easy to create quick, coordinated pages. O' Scrap takes "double sided" to the next level with their Choices product line. They have double-sided tags, word sheets, papers and more.

Accu-cut - Accu-Cut had an exciting announcement at HIA; they unveiled the new Mini Machine, a three-in-one die-cutting, texturizing, embossing personal machine. To go along with the Mini Machine, they also introduced a line of thin line dies and texturizing plates. Also new from Accu-cut are new additions to the EZCut Shapemakers line. Watch for this new machine coming in April 2004.

Epson - The Picture Mate debuted in February from Epson. This exciting personal photo printer makes digital photos easier, more cost efficient, and the best choice for those concerned about photo longevity. I fell in love with this little printer. Read all about it by clicking here.
