Spring Into Scrapbooking
Dateline: 03/05/00As the weather turns warmer, thoughts turn to Spring. Ok, it may not really be Spring yet, but it's coming. The warm spell in the Mid-west and East has done its' share to inspire Spring fever, get the golfers out in full force, and draw the children outdoors without their heavy Winter coats. As you begin to take more outdoor pictures, it is a good time to start thinking about your Spring scrapbook pages. Think about pictures of flowers starting to bloom, playgrounds full of children, and kites flying high in the air on Spring breezes. To inspire you, I have created a Spring scrapbook resource collection, including printable die cut shapes, letters, and full page instructions.
-
First, two sets of letters are available for you to print out on your choice of paper. The first set of Block Letters includes the complete alphabet, while the second set is the lettering for "Let's Go Fly a Kite."
-
Next, you can view the instructions for two ideas which use these letters. The first is a charming "Spring" border using the Block Letters. The second is a festive Kite Flying Page.
-
Poems and Quotes for Spring have been gathered here from all over the internet to add words to the pages that seem to require a little something more than you could compose on your own.
-
And finally, a collection of Spring shapes in various sizes are available for you to print out on your choice of colored paper and cut out for your scrapbook pages.
Watch for more page ideas and resources under the heading "More From Your Guide" as the season progresses.
Feel free to post your Spring page ideas or tips on the Forum. Join us for a chat this week to talk about how your album is coming along or anything else that is on your mind.
