Assembling the Pattern

To assemble your pattern, first dry fit the pieces onto a piece of photo-mounting paper/cardstock. Lay each piece exactly as it will be affixed in the final layout. If any of the pieces need to be trimmed, now is a good time to do that. When you have made sure each piece will fit properly, go ahead and use your favorite photo adhesive to adhere the pieces to the page. I used a pencil to trace light lines exactly across the middle of my cardstock both horizontally and vertically, giving me a guideline for laying my pieces on the page. Remember that any pieces that have not been cut as perfectly as you may have thought can either be overlapped slightly by other pieces, trimmed, or discarded and a new piece cut from your remaining photos.
