Protecting Your Lumpy Pages

Don’t forget to plan around possible abrasion and impression of lumpy elements when you lay out your page elements. Instead, plan your double-page spreads so the lumpy items don’t press into the photos on the opposite page when your book is closed.

“Always store your albums upright—never stack them. When scrapbooks lay on a shelf or coffee table, metal embellishments like wire can make indentations on the opposite page,” Lisa suggests.
