Mulberry Paper: Fuzzy is Hot

If you haven't tried Mulberry Paper before, you should be forewarned that reading this article may cause an uncontrollable urge to run to your local scrapbook store or log-on to your favorite online retailer.  This specialty scrapbook paper is very popular right now with ideas and layouts showing up in all the major magazines, conventions, and craft shops. Once again scrapbookers are borrowing a technique that has been used for quite a while by rubber stampers to create beautiful embellishments for cards. This paper allows you to add a wonderful fuzzy edge to your scrapbook artwork. In the sample page, Tulip Time, I used green mulberry paper to make a fuzzy grass line and stems for my tulips. I also used burgundy and pink to add texture to the edges of my blooms.

Tips and techniques for using this great product can be found on the next page. Also, remember you can click on the sample page to see it in greater detail.
