Spooky Pages: Halloween Scrapbooking Fun

Halloween provides great photo taking opportunities. In turn, those photos can be made into great scrapbook pages. Some quick tips for Halloween pages:

1) Try out your black card-stock. Many of you have already discovered the dramatic effect that can be achieved by using a black background for your pages. If you have yet to try it, Halloween is the perfect time to try it out.

2) Try out some new techniques. Tearing paper pumpkins and placing them in a field created by more torn paper makes a great Halloween page idea. The page shown here uses Opaque Writers, Funky Letters Template, and a Border Buddy Template, all from EK Success to make a quick and easy page. EK Success also has a fun Over-all titled "Spooky Nights" which quickly becomes a page topper and bottom border for any size scrapbook page between 8 1/2" x 11" and 12" x 12".

3) Check out the great page titles on the About Scrapbooking Forum. These page toppers will be sure to inspire terrific page ideas!

4) Dressing up on Halloween provides the perfect compliment to using paper dolls on your pages. Try out a doll made to match your subject's costume.

5) The Gratiae has a free paper piecing pattern for the month of October perfect for your Halloween pages. You can download the pattern directly to your computer and print it out to customize for your pages.
