8 Patriotic Summer Scrapbook Pages

Summertime Layouts to Inspire Your Patriotism and Creativity

This collection of eight scrapbook page layouts from Rebecca and several scrapbookers on the About Scrapbooking Forum contains pages that will challenge you to try new things in your summer designs. With a variety of techniques covering simple to more advanced, you are sure to find some things that you can "scrap-lift" or borrow for future scrapbooking. Click on the layout or the title to see the pages larger and in greater detail.

Layout 1) Schoolcraft July 4th Parade - Page design by Rebecca Ludens. This layout features Reality Papers and Tags from The Paper Loft. This quick and easy page has the look of collage art type pages with none of the creativity or time usually required.
Layout 2) July 4th Parade - Page Design by Jennifer Schmidt. Jennifer uses creative wire techniques to add fun embellishments to her layout.
Layout 3) Summer Freedom - Page Design by Darcy. On these pages Darcy uses dramatic color-blocking to accent her photos. July pages do not have to be red, white, and blue. Be sure to click on the layout to the left to see page two of this design.
Layout 4) Audie Murphy - Page design by Francine B. The classic heritage look of these pages is a perfect compliment for the striking photos. Francine has tips about using ink to give your pages an authentically "old" look. Read these tips and see page two by clicking on the layout to the left.
Layout 5) Growing American - Page design by Melissa K. Melissa incorporates a variety of techniques to give her layout dimension and color. Tags are key to this page design.
Layout 6) Star Spangled Girl - Page design by Bettie. Bettie made this fun page in a wire class at a scrapbooking convention. She used nailheads, caviar beads, wire, beads, and more.
Layout 7) Canada Day - Page design by Brandy-lyn. In this case Patriotic means Canadian. You won't want to miss how Brandy-lyn used some extra decorative toothpicks on her layout! See page two and the details of both pages by clicking on the layout to the left.
Layout 8) Fourth of July - Page design by Tracey. The title on this page was an answer to a Technique Challenge here on About Scrapbooking. Tracey tried out the new technique and added in some swap items from the Forum to complete this layout.
