Layered Lettering with Die Cuts

Create Fantastic Titles with Die Cuts
by Your Guide to Scrapbooking Rebecca Ludens

Using a Die Cut Machine:

1) Select the colors of cardstock or patterned paper that will coordinate with your layout.

2) Select a lettering die style that fits the theme of the page. Dies used in example "At the Beach" - Sizzix Fun Serif Big

3) Layer the colored papers to create a striped strip to die cut the letters from. The layers may be torn or cut depending on the look you desire. Be sure to firmly affix the layers together, a Xyron machine works well for this purpose. It will be important when die cut the letters that the layers were completely glued together at the beginning.

4) Center each letter die over the strip and cut. Paper in sample "At the Beach" - Paper Loft "Pool" and "Sand"
