Mini Book Tips:
Use words, phrases or quotes
that are preprinted on vellum or stickers as accents and journaling solutions.
Keep pages simple for a look that will stand the test of time.
Use a border design throughout to give consistency to your project.
Try a monochromatic color scheme with various cardstock and pattern paper.
Create backgrounds using a stamped design on each page.
Use stickers and faux three-dimensional accents to keep your album from
becoming too bulky.
Use only 1-2 words per page with 1 photo to keep it simple.
Try action words (verbs) and descriptive words (adjectives) to get your
message across.
Make your cover the most elaborate page, and let that be the place where you
use your bulky embellishments.
Small scale scrapbooks means using small scale supplies - try small punches,
stickers, and die cuts for smaller details.
Consider including a page about you and why you decided to make the gift for
the person or occasion.
Collect sayings, quotes and poems from cards, magazines, calendars and books
to use when creating gift scrapbooks.
