    Vertical Paper Storage

Kristi Sikora- Blankenship teaches fabulous organization classes all over the country for scrapbookers. In her class at Creating Keepsakes University in Vancouver, she showed us a method for storing papers vertically - standing up. This method of paper organization allows you to get a lot of paper into a small space, while still having a system for finding everything.

    Materials Used:

    • 12x12 paper organizers from Leeco Industries - Each organizer can hold up to 100 sheets of paper. You can purchase them from your favorite local scrapbook store or online at the Cropper Hopper Online Store for $5.95 each. In Spring of 2004, Leeco will introduce more standing paper holders that make this type of organization even easier.
    • Any shelving system or cabinet space larger enough to hold the 12x12 paper organizers.
    • A labeling system to clearly label each paper holder so you can easily locate the colors inside.

The one of the great things about this method of storage is that you can take out individual paper holders and put them in your scrapbooking tote to take with you to crops. Or you can simply pull a paper holder and take it to your workspace for convenience while cropping at home.

Leeco also has an expandable paper file that could be used for this type of storage. "The Expo" can hold up to 500 sheets of scrapbook paper.
