Tip From Melissa: "I LOVED this kit the minute I laid my eyes on the
paper! The colors coordinate so well together and I immediately thought of
pictures of my girls to work with the fresh, stylish lines. I had a difficult
time choosing which papers to use for this kit. They were all so fun! All of the
combinations I put together as I worked with the pages looked good. I finally
picked what's seen on the layout because those papers reminded me of my
daughters' personalities.
I used a transparency for my journaling - it's my latest favorite technique! You
can get the full impact of the background paper and keep your focus on the
photos that way. I set my printer to transparency and let the ink dry for a few
hours before I "set" it with my heat embosser. It takes a long time for printing
on transparencies to dry. You can sprinkle clear embossing powder on the
transparency and emboss your journaling for another look for variety.
The tacks and rivets were the perfect accents to use. My youngest daughter loves
purple so I used them in lots of places on my layout. I added the fiber because
I am a fiber addict and it worked perfectly with these yummy papers."
