Tip From Veronica: "Don't be afraid to cut apart pre-designed
scrapbook pages! If you notice the border on the left hand side of the first
page, you will see 3 "scraps" of paper, only one of those scraps actually
started out there. The other two were cut off of the sheet of "Finishing
Touches" and added by cutting slits in the background sheet with my swivel
knife.
Another great way to make your layout look dimensional is to again use your
swivel knife and cut around the edges of the flat embellishments (holly leaves
and evergreen sprigs on all of the accents were slit along a side and pictures
slid under to create the over lapping look).
Duplicating accents in the printed sheet will also help bind your layout
together. I used gold cord to mimic the wrapped look of some of the existing
accents onto my tag and large vellum covered photo." (see close up photo below)
