Scrapbookers Design One Kit |
Once again Simple Scrapbooks Magazine and About Scrapbooking each chose two scrapbookers and presented them with the challenge of making a layout from a packaged kit. Our designers were very excited to work with the kits for this issue of About Simple Kits. Both the Two Busy Moms kit and the Deja View kit below offered design flexibility because they contained so many beautiful parts! Each kit given to the designers was exactly the same. This new series will show that page kits make pulling together layouts easier but they also leave plenty of room for individual creativity! Don't miss the journaling on Jenna Tomalka's Hope pages (be sure to grab a box of tissues first).

As you examine each of the eight layouts, note what things the designers happened to do the same way? What things did they do differently? How did they achieve balance on their layouts? How well did the kit compliment the photos? And, be sure to check back for future editions of About Simple Kits!
