Step 1: Cut shapes from chipboard large enough to accommodate the letter style you have chosen. I cut my pieces of chipboard to appear slightly random in shape - rough trapezoids.

Step: 2: Paint the cut shapes with acrylic paint and let dry. The ones on the card above where painted with green paint on the tops, allowed to dry, and then painted with blue on the bottoms.
