Create a Custom Digital Scrapbooking Background with Brushes

Are you looking for a fun new way to use Photoshop brushes? You can create custom patterned background papers for digital scrapbooking easily with brushes in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. This tutorial will show you the simple steps to add a pattern to solid background papers that you already have on hand. The screenshots for this tutorial were created using Photoshop Elements (PSE) 7. If you're are using a different version of PSE, some features may be slightly different. If you are using Photoshop, you will have additional brush options. This tutorial assumes that you know how to choose a foreground color, load a brush and create a new layer.
