Marching Band Word Art Scrapbook Page Idea - Double Page Spread
On this double page scrapbook page, Jennifer Schmidt, used the word art piece "Marching Band, Love It!" to add extra journaling to her page. She printed the image on a transparency sheet and then used the photo mats just above it to hide her adhesive. Close-Up of Page 1
This close up of the scrapbook page shows better detail. In this image, you can see how Jennifer used mini-brads to accent the first letter in the word "Band." This simple embellishment mimics the design of the marching band uniforms in a quick and easy way. Mini brads are one of my favorite embellishments because they are so easy to use and can be added for just the right little accent. To learn the easiest way to set a mini brad in your page, you can watch my video Setting Mini Brads for Scrapbooking.
Close Up of Page 2
On the close-up of page two you can better see how the word art lays right over the top of the patterned paper adding text while still allowing the patterned to show through. Notice how Jennifer once again used three mini brads to accent the first letter of the title word.
