Free Fall Patterns: Fall Pumpkins Pattern

Save graphic on your computer and paste into your favorite word processing or graphic program to print. Remember you can enlarge or reduce the image to fit your page design before you print it. Please note that this pattern is for personal use only and all rights are reserved by Nannette Gutierrez. For your own personal use you may print this pattern, change its size, and use it to create paper piecings for your albums.

Instructions
  1. Print a copy of the pattern.
  2. Cut the pattern pieces from the copy.
  3. Apply repostionable adhesive to the pattern pieces and adhere to the orange cardstock and tan cardstock.
  4. Trace your patterns on the cardstock, remove the patterns, and rub off the repositionable adhesive. Punch the leaves out of green vellum or trace the leaves on to the green vellum and then cut out the leaves.
  5. Prior to cutting the pumpkins and the stem out, draw your stitch lines as per the pattern illustration. Draw your pumpkin faces and then cut out all the pieces.
  6. Chalk all the pumpkin stitch lines and the stem in black.
  7. Pumpkin #3 Bottom - Cut your 2 Jumbo Maple leaves in half and attach at an angle on the top of this pumpkin.
  8. Pumpkin #2 Middle - Attach 5 small Maple leaf punchies to top of the pumpkin, 4 grouped to the left of the top of the pumpkin one slightly off to the right. Adhere pumpkin #2 on top of #3.
  9. Pumpkin #1 Top – Attach 4 small Maple leaf punchies and the stem to the top of this pumpkin. Adhere #1 to the top of #2. Pumpkin stack is complete.
  10. Macramé Cord – drape the macramé cord around the pumpkins and attach to the back with double sided tape. Twist the macramé cord with your fingers to curl at the edges. (Hint: Macramé cord has a waxy outer coating that bends with slight pressure.)
