Free Fall Patterns: Finished Spider Close Up

From Rebecca Ludens, About.com

The completed spider is "hanging" from a piece of black 20 gauge wire from Artistic Wire.

Finished Spider Close Up

Ludens
To create the string of web, I used a circle pliers to make a circle on the end of a 8 inch piece of 20 gauge wire. Then, I turn the circle, using rubber nosed pliers, to create a spiral on then end of the wire. I slid the spiral on the top strip of boarder like a paper clip and insert the straight end of the wire under the spider. The spider is adhered to the page using PopUp GlueDots. The spider legs are attached using rolled up Memory Book GlueDots.
