Photo Cropping for Scrapbooking: Crop and Enlarge

Crop and Enlarge: My favorite trend in photo cropping is cropping and enlarging. Choose the perfect section of your photo and then enlarge it and you will have an instant focal point for your scrapbook page. Even just one photo of a special event cropped and enlarged can create a fabulous scrapbook page.

Cropping and enlarging is much easier with digital photos. You can both crop and enlarge on your computer before you print your image. You can also have this done at your local photo developer. In the sample shown here, just cropping the photo would leave the resulting picture too small to gain the attention that it deserves on the page. By selecting the heart of the image and then enlarging, the picture becomes a focal point for the page.
