Tip 7 - Cluster Several Photos On One Photo Mat

Hot Off the Press
Cluster Several Photos On One Photo Mat:

With a ton of photos from a family Grand Prix adventure, Laura wanted to feature as many pictures as possible on this double-page spread. On the left page, she matted three cropped images side-by-side on a 12 inch wide piece of cardstock. She cropped about 1/8 inch off each of two 4x6 inch photos and matted them side-by-side at the bottom of the layout.

To balance the horizontal orientation of the left page, Laura focused on vertical design on the right layout. She trimmed about 1/8 inch in height from each of three 4x6 inch photos and matted them onto a 12 inch long piece of cardstock. Laura then cropped three photos to 2 3/4 inch x 2 inch and matted them vertically onto cardstock, placing this photo strip on the left side of the page. A 2 3/4 inch x 2 1/2 inch matted photo sits at the bottom of the page with a Brad Buddy™ on an oval punch-out above it. Laura accented the page with additional art punch-outs and colorful brads.
