A trendy scrapbook embellishment is the tab. In the purest form a tab looks just like the "tab" on the top of a file folder. These can be placed on the top, bottom, or side edge of photo mats or journaling boxes. Scrapbookers use tabs to label pages with information such as names and dates or to add a bit of other text. Tabs can come in almost any shape and hold rub-on's, stickers, or other embellishments. Some tabs made from patterned paper simply serve as an embellishment on their own with no further text or designs added. This gallery is full of layouts to challenge you to try this simple technique on your next layout.
