Each of the hand-cut butterflies made from the Free Butterfly Patterns
is mounted using double-sided adhesive foam tape. This gives a little lift to the embellishments and adds texture and dimension to the scrapbook page. It also coordinated with the BasicGrey Out of Print elements stickers since each of those butterflies were also layered with foam tape.
Each circle shown here was punched out of patterned paper that already had a circle printed on it. You could easily create this look by layering two different sizes of punched circles. You can punch a larger size circle from white cardstock and layer it with a smaller size punched from patterned paper. Print out the butterfly patterns to a size that will fit just with-in the size of the circles. I reduced the size of two butterflies and repeated them again and again on a Word document. I then printed those butterflies directly on the back of a sheet of solid colored cardstock.
