The final design of this scrapbook page did not leave room for journaling. Therefore, I decided to use a hidden journaling pocket that slides behind the focal point photo. The pocket is constructed by placing photo tape on the back of the photo mat in such a way as to leave an opening for the card to slide freely in and out. I printed my journaling on the card and then attached the card to a strip of cardstock to help make a tab to give the card a handle. The tab is covered with a leaf and berry embellishment to match the page. The embellishment makes the journaling truly hidden since it blends with the page layout.
