Once you have folded and creased the two sides, you will have a 5 1/2 inch square in the middle of your piece of cardstock. The flap that you trimmed will be on the bottom edge of this square. Using your ruler and pencil make a small mark in the middle of the top edge of the square. This will help you center your punched notch in the next step.
