Once the base coat of paint has dried, use a white paint pen to add some highlights to the shapes. For balloons, I added a white mark and accented two sides of the shapes. For flowers, you might want to highlight the tips of the petals.

Tip: You can speed up the drying time of the paint by using your heat gun. Keep the gun several inches from the shapes and watch carefully to avoid overheating or burning the shapes.
