Guide Review - Must Have Scrapbooking Products - Un-Du
Nine years ago, I chose Un-Du as my "New Favorite Product." In the last couple of years Un-Du went through some changes that caused a riot of rumors and speculation in the scrapbook community. Supplies of Un-Du were hard to come by as scrapbookers stocked up and it was impossible to find in California. Un-Du is now available in two formulations: Original and VOC Compliant. The new VOC compliant Un-Du works exactly like the original version, however it does take longer to evaporate off of your scrapbook page. Each bottle comes with a plastic lifting/pouring tool tip attached which allows you to direct the liquid right to the problem area and scoop the sticker off the scrapbook page. When the page dries, the spot is gone. When the sticker dries, it is once again sticky and can be placed in the correct position. I admit I was skeptical at first, even shocked when I saw someone pour the liquid onto her beautiful, completed scrapbook page. However, it was amazing! It works great and disappears completely from the page after use. This product is acid-free and photo-safe. Un-du also will help you safely remove photos from old, acid-filled, magnetic albums. No more sewing back and forth with dental floss tearing papers and damaging photos. Un-du will cause the adhesive in the album pages to release the photos without damage. You will also want to purchase an additional bottle of Un-Du for use in your home, school, or office. It can be used to remove gum from surfaces, bumper stickers and sticky residues such as tar and tree sap from vehicles, and even crayon from walls. Un-du was even used in a recent episode of CSI Miami.
