Use a pencil to lightly trace where you want to stitch. Again a CD was used to trace a circle. The smaller circles were traced using the inside of a roll of ribbon. Look around you for items that you can use to trace the shapes you need. Straight stitching lines should be drawn using a pencil and a ruler.
