By Rebecca Ludens, About.com

If you have been scrapbooking for some time then your "scrapbook stash" is most likely overflowing with buttons. You can find buttons in almost every color, style, and design to fit any theme of scrapbook page. I attach buttons to my scrapbook pages with GlueDots to instantly add dimension without any drying time. What is your favorite way to attach buttons to your layouts? Do you stitch them on with cross stitch floss, glue them with craft glue? What works best for you? Share your tips with other About.com Scrapbooking readers. Share Your Tips

Buttons

I use embrodiey thread on the button to make it look like I sewed it to the page or card. I attach with Zots glue dots

usually just use GlueDots

I tend to just use glue dots. I have a fair amount of embroidery floss on hand that never gets used anymore.....I should give that a try next time!

How to attach buttons to your layout

My favorite way to attach buttons to my layout is to use Beacon's Craft Glue. It has a very strong hold. I have also used glue dots but sometimes they fall off later.
